Head Coach – Sean Collins
Coach Sean became the men’s Walled Lake Cobras head coach 3 years ago. Prior to becoming the head coach he was the assistant coach for the Cobras and an assistant coach for the University of Michigan club water polo team. During his time at Michigan the team made it to the National Championship stage! Very impressive!
Sean spent his early days in West Bloomfield, MI and attended Walled Lake Central High School, where he played goalie for the Cobras. After high school Sean played club water polo at Oakland University and found time to also play with the Motor City Masters water polo team. Sean graduated from both Oakland University and Loyola University and is currently teaching high school physics at International Academy West.
Assistant Coach – Claire Bartosic
Coach Claire became the Walled Lake Cobra’s Women’s head coach in 2020 and the men’s assistant coach in 2021. Claire came to the Cobras by way of New Haven, CT where she played water polo while attending the Hopkins School. She was an impressive player in the field throughout her time at Hopkins. After graduating she attended the University of Michigan where she played club water polo and is now working as an Interactive Web Developer for an advertising agency.
